Lakshmipur: A man, in his twenties, died after he had fell from a mango tree at Sayedpur village in Lakshmipur Sadar on Wednesday morning.

The deceased is Ratan, a resident of the same area.

Police said Ratan fell from the tree by his house at about 8:30am as he tried to fetch a kite that was entangled on a branch of the tree.

Ratan with serious wounds was sent to Lakshmipur Sadar hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
