Dhaka: Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country till 6:00pm on Saturday, Met Office said.

Severe heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi and Kushtia and mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over remaining part Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Dinajpur, Sayedpur, Barisal, Patuakhali and Bhola and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

However, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet, Dhaka, and Khulna divisions.

The sun sets in the capital tomorrow at 6:27pm and rises on Sunday at 05:25am.

Country’s highest temperature, 41.2 degree Celsius, was recorded on Friday in Rajshahi and, lowest 19.9 degree, in Sylhet.
