Dhaka: The people of Bangladesh can resolve their political crisis, said United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Dhaka Robert Watkins.
The UNDP representative made the remark in a felicitation programme at a hotel in Dhaka on Sunday night for the newly-appointed ambassadors and high commissioners in Bangladesh. 

Consular Core, an organisation of the consular who represent different countries in Bangladesh, organised the programme. 

Robert Watkins said United Nation (UN) will always support Bangladeshis. He hoped people of Bangladesh will solve the recent crisis of the country like they did in their glorious past.

European Union representative team chief Pierre Mayaudon, Canadian High Commissioner Benoit-Pierre Laramee, France ambassador Aubert Sofi and UNDP envoy Robert Watkins were felicitated in the programme.

Prime minister’s international affairs advisor Gowher Rizvi and Consular Core president Asif A Chowdhury addressed the programme.
