Lakshmipur: Fires gutted four shops at Char Ruhita union of Sadar upazila in Lakshmipur in the early hours of Tuesday.

Victims claimed the fire damaged a grocery shop, a tea-stall and two furniture shops which worth around Tk 10lakh.

Fire fighters and local people doused the fire after one and half hour.

Lakshmipur station officer said the fire might be originated from short circuit.
