ICT finalises report against 8

Dhaka: International Crime Tribunal (ICT) investigation agency on Tuesday finalised reports against eight accused for their alleged crimes against humanity during the War of Independence in 1971.
Chief investigator of the agency Abdul Hannan Khan and senior investigation officer Sanaul Haque at a press briefing held at its Dhanmandi office in Dhaka said the report will be submitted to the tribunal’s prosecution on Wednesday.
The agency finalised the report against Islami Bank former director Sharif Ahmed, Mohammad Ashraf Hossain, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Mohammad Abdul Bari, Harun, Mohammad Abdul Hashem, Mohammad Shamsul Haque, SM Yusuf Ali.
Mohammad Shamsul Haque and SM Yusuf Ali are detained. The other accused are absconding.
The report brings ten charges against the accused including murder and torture.
The investigation committee has been started its work since 6 June 2013.
