Dhaka: A fire broke out at a shopping centre in Science Laboratory area, Dhaka on Thursday morning.

Fire Service Central Control Room duty officer said the fire originated on the first floor of the four-storey ‘Priyangan Shopping Centre’ at about 9:20am.

Firefighters went to the spot and doused the blaze around 11:30am.

The duty officer said no one was injured in the fire.

The reason behind the fire could not be ascertained yet.
