ACC to inspect Yunus’s corruption

Dhaka: Anti-Corruption Commission chairman Mohammad Bodiuzzaman said that ACC will inspect the issue if Grameen Bank founder Muhammad Yunus is involved with any irregularities or corruptions.
The ACC chairman came up with the view while addressing a human-chain formed to mark the Anti-Corruption Week 2015 at National Press Club on Sunday morning.
He said, ‘If all of us hate corrupted people, they will lose their interest for corruption and their point of view will be changed’.
He also called for help from country people including the politicians to avert corruption.
Earlier, a procession was brought out from the ACC office at Shegubagicha at about 10:00am. The procession concluded at the ACC office after marching Bijoy Nagar, Paltan and Press Club area.
ACC commissioner Mohammad Nasir Uddin, ACC secretary Maksudul Hassan Khan and other senior officers participated in the procession.
