Gazipur: A garment worker was found dead in Kolabadha area of Kaliakoir upazila on Friday morning.

The deceased is Mahmudur Rahman Dipur, 30, son of Jahirul Islam, a resident of Goran area in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail district and a worker of Rahmat Textile Mills Limited, reports UNB.

Sub-inspector Faizur Rahman, in-charge of Mowchak Police outpost under Kaliakoir Police Station, said locals spotted the slaughtered body of Dipur in the area in the morning and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Gazipur Shahid Taj Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
