Man hacked dead in Bogra
Bogra: A marriage registrar was hacked to death by miscreants at Baniagati Bazar in Dhunot upazila on early Monday.
The deceased is Imam Matiur Rahman Moti, 40, son of late Manser Ali of the village, and marriage registrar of Gopalnagar union council of the upazila, reports UNB.
Dhunot police officer-in-charge Panchananda Biswas said a group of miscreants attacked Moti in the area when he was returning home from Tarabi prayers at about 12:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Bogra General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
A case was filed in this connection.
