Nannu Mia, a murder and abduction suspect, was held for abducting and killing more than hundred Bangladeshis in different Middle East countries.

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) detained Nannu from the immigration area of Shahjalal International Airport while flying to abroad in the early hours of Monday.  

The police also seized several documents and a bag from Nannu Mia.
In primary inquiring at the CID office, Malibagh, on Tuesday morning, Nannu said he is involved with a vicious circle in different countries including Middle East. 

The members of his circle demanded ransom from the families of the abducted persons in Bangladesh.

CID official said they will organise a press conference in this connection at Malibagh at about 12:30noon.
