Mymensingh: The namaz-e-janaza, funeral prayer, of police constable Ansarul Haque was held at Mymensingh police line on Thursday afternoon.

Ansarul Haque was seriously injured along with other police members in bomb blast at Sholakia, Kishoreganj before Eid congregation today.

After receiving bomb injury Ansarul Haque along with five other police members was sent to Mymensingh Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment. Police constable Ansarul Haque died in Mymensingh CMH during the treatment.

Later his body was brought to Mymensingh police line and his namaz-e-janaza was held there.

Mymensingh Superintendent of police (SP) Mainul Haque along with other police officials attended the namaz-e-janaza of Ansarul Haque, son of Siddiqur Rahman.

Relatives of Ansarul Haque including his younger brother Aminul Haque were present and attended the namaj-e-janaza. Later the body of Ansarul Haque was sent to his village home Daulatpur under Madan upazila of Netrakona district for burial.
