Minor rescued after abduction, one suspect held in Natore
Natore: Police rescued an abducted minor boy and arrested an alleged abductor from Khajura Bottala in Naldanga upazila on Thursday.
Subir Datta, officer-in-charge of Naldanga Police Station, said a group of young men picked up Siam, 7, son of Akram Hossain, from Khajura Bottala area at about 7:00pm.
When the child raised hue and cry, locals rushed to spot and rescued the boy.
They caught an alleged abductor, identified as Foysal, red handed while his other accomplices managed to flee.
Later, locals gave Foysal a good beating and handed him over to police.
