Dhaka: Two people were injured after a wall collapsed at Masterda Surya Sen Hall on Dhaka University campus on Wednesday morning.

The injured were sent to the University Medical Centre for primary treatment. Later, they were shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Witnesses said, the west side wall of Shaheed HM Ibrahim Selim auditorium collapsed at about 10:00am, leaving a student and a hall employee injured.

The condition of the hall employee, Shahparan, believed to be 12, is critical.

The hall provost Maksud Kamal said the wall collapsed as the building was old.

‘We informed the authorities about this earlier’, said Kamal.
