Noakhali: A bullet-hit body of a man, in his thirties, was found with his hands and feet tied together at Chatkhil in Noakhali on Friday morning.

Police claimed the deceased is Kabir, chief of a criminal gang, Kabir Bahini.

The local people called police after seeing the body at Chhobanpur village of Ram Narayanpur union at about 7:00am.
Police recovered the body at about 10:00am.

Chatkhil police said Kabir might be killed after dispute over loot with his rival groups. There are around 12 cases including murder, rape and extortion against Kabir with Ramganj and Chatkhil police.

He was a fugitive convict in an arms case, said police.
