Kuwait Ambassador in Dhaka Ali Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Dhufairi met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali today and discussed various bilateral issues.

The Kuwait envoy informed the Foreign Minister that his country wants to expand its relations with Bangladesh.

They discussed the issue of holding the second joint commission meeting soon between the two countries in Dhaka. The first meeting was held in Kuwait city on June 18, 2013.

The Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction as Kuwait has started recruiting Bangladeshis again since January, 2014. At present, almost 2 lakh Bangladeshis are working in Kuwait.
