Pabna: A man was stabbed to death by his younger brother over land dispute at Rameshwarpur village in Sadar upazila of Pabna on Sunday night, reports UNB.

The deceased is Tajim Molla, 55, son of Jira Molla, a resident of the village.

Sadar police officer-in-charge Munsi Abu Kuddus said there had been a longstanding dispute between Tajim Molla and his brother Billah Molla over a piece of land.

As a sequel to the dispute, Billah stabbed Tajim indiscriminately at about 9:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Four family members were also assaulted by him grievously when they tried to resist Tajim.

The injured were admitted to Pabna General Hospital.
