Manikganj: Law enforcers in a joint drive arrested three people on suspicion of having militant link from different char areas in Daulatpur upazila early on Tuesday.

The arrestees are Abul Bashar, principle of Baghutia Alim Madrasah, Isak Ali and Shah Alam, teachers of Kazi Shafiuddin Dakhil Madrasah, reports UNB.

Manikganj Superintendent of police Mahfuzur Rahman said a joint team comprising 200 members of Rapid Action Battalion 4 (RAB), Armed Police Battalion and Detective Branch of police, launched the drive in Char Katari, Baghutia, Ziyanpur and Banchamora union of the upazila early in the morning.

They arrested three people for their suspected militant link.

The arrestees are now being interrogated, said the SP.
