Dhaka: Amid growing engagement in militant activities by a section of students of some private universities, the government has ordered the complete shutdown of Darul Ihsan University and outer campuses of other private universities.

The Ministry of Education issued a notification in this regard on Monday, reports UNB.

The ministry came up with the decision following a High Court verdict over the operation of private universities.
