Natore: Miscreants shot a man to death at Bahimali village in Baraigram, Natore early Tuesday.

The deceased was Motaleb, a resident of the village.

Baraigram police officer-in-charge Emran Hossain said a gang of miscreants knocked at Motaleb’s house door in the area at about 1:00am.

When Motaleb opened the door, the miscreants fired shots at him and fled the scene, leaving him dead on the spot.

Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, police recovered the body of a teenage boy named Sajedul Islam from beside Paikerdol Girls’ School in Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.
