A fire broke out at a fourth-storey building at Green Road of Panthapath in Dhaka at about 1:40am on Wednesday.

The cause of fire and details about the extent of damage could not be known immediately.

Fire brigade central controlroom duty officer Ataur Rahman confirmed the incident.  

The fire incident took place on the second floor of Green Road-152/1 residential building, he said.

Three fire fighting units were working to douse the flame till filing the report at 2:45am.
