15 students arrested in B’baria for suspicious movement
Brahmanbaria: Fifteen university and college students, who were detained by Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) from Bijoynagar upazila on Thursday afternoon for suspicious movement, were shown arrested on Friday, reports UNB.
Mohammad Ali Arshad, officer-in-charge of Bijoynagar Police Station, said they have been shown arrested under section no 54 and sent to the court at about 12:30pm.
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) of BGB-12 battalion detained the 15 students of different universities and colleges from the Singerbil border area of the upazila on Thursday afternoon.
The age of the arrestees was around 20 and four of them are residents of the district.
