Grand reception for Tigers to be postponed

Returning officer of the Chittagong City Corporation election, Abdul Baten, has directed authorities to postpone the grand reception programme for the Bangladesh cricket team.

‘The election environment will be hampered if such a grand programme is organised now. So the authorities have been directed to postpone the programme.’ said Abdul Baten on Thursday night.

The grand reception programme for the tigers was scheduled to be held on Friday at the MA Aziz stadium in Chittagong.
