Woman, 2 daughters found dead in Pirojpur

Pirojpur: A woman and her two minor daughters were found dead at Nalbunia village in Mathbaria upazila on Sunday.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the bodies of Najmunnahar Laizu, 26, wife of schoolteacher Moniruzzaman Farid, and their two-year-old daughter Maisha Akhter Kona and eight-month-old Mahia Akhter Baby from the house in the evening, reports UNB.
Locals said Farid, assistant teacher of Godighata Sorojoni High School in the upazila, found the house closed from inside when he returned home from his school in the afternoon.
After getting no response despite repeated calls, he along with locals entered the house breaking open the door only to see the two children lying dead and her wife lying unconscious on the ground.
Farid called in local practitioner Reaz. However, Laizu died after some time.
Police suspected that the woman killed herself by taking poison after pouring poison on the mouths of her daughters over family feud.
Meanwhile, the teacher went into hiding after the incident
Mathbaria Police Station officer-in-charge Khandaker Mostafizur Rahman said police recovered the three bodies and sent those to hospital morgue.
Farid married Laizu, daughter of Abdur Rob Talukdar of Dhanisafa village in the same upazila, three years back after his separation with first wife.
