Teen’s body dug out in B’baria
Brahamanbaria: Police recovered the body of a teenage madrasah boy after digging a building floor on Friday evening, a day after he went missing from his house at Brahamanhota in Nabinagar, Brahmanbaria.
The deceased was Rahad Miah, 17, son of Hadis Miah, an eighth grader of Baro Awlia Madrasah.
Brahamanbaria Police Station Officer-in-charge Imtiaz Ahmed said Rahad went out of the house with his neighbour Mustakin,16, son of Mizanur Rahman, and did not return since then.
Later, family members carried out a frantic search but could not find out Rahad and informed police.
Informed, police came in and interrogated Mustakin and his mother Mahima Begum, 40, about the whereabouts of Rahad.
The mother and the son then admitted to police that they had killed Rahad and buried him in the floor of an under-construction building of one Golam Ahmed, a resident of the area.
Police recovered the body digging out the floor and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Mustakin and his mother Mahima were also arrested.
