Tremor jolts country

Dhaka: A minor earthquake shook Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh on Tuesday morning, as result of a 5.3 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar’s Mawlaik.
US Geological Survey timed the earthquake timed it at 02:11 UTC – at about 8:11am in Bangladesh time.
The Met Office in Dhaka official Hanif Sheikh told NTV Online the earth quake originated 409 kilometre south-east from capital city Dhaka, where it was 4.9 magnitude on the Richter Scale.
