Lakshmipur: A local Jubo League activist sustained bullet injures as miscreants shot him at Nurullapur village of Sadar upazila on early Wednesday.

The victim is Ibrahim Hossain, a resident of Nurullahpur village.

Chandraganj Police officer-in-charge M Humayan Kabir said some unidentified miscreants fired at Ibrahim when he came out of the house at about 01:00am, leaving him injured.

Later, he was taken to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital.
