Jhenaidah: Police arrested 36 people, including five activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, in a special drive from different parts of the district on various charges on Saturday.

Additional Superintendent of Police Azbahar Ali Sheikh said police conducted a drive in different places of the district from Friday night to Saturday morning and arrested them on various charges.

Among the arrestees, there were five Jamaat men, added the ASP.
