136 Bangladeshis reach Djibouti from Yemen
Dhaka: Around 136 Bangladeshis, including five women and four children, evacuated from Hodeida, Yemen on Wednesday by an Indian Naval Ship (INS), arrived safely at Djibouti on Thursday.
Bangladesh Ambassador in Kuwait, stationed in Djibouti, received them at the sea port, said in a media release.
Bangladesh Foreign Ministry is arranging their food, shelter and other logistics in Djibouti. It is also arranging their onward journey from Djibouti to Dhaka by a special flight of Bangladesh Biman which is scheduled to operate on 20 April.
The exact time of their arrival will be conveyed to all concerned later on, the release added.
