Rajshahi: Police recovered the body of a woman from the River Padma at Kuthipara village in Godagari, Rajshahi on Friday.

The deceased was Firoza,50, wife of late Rahman Ali of Harma village in Sadar upazila of Chapainawabganj.

Family sources said Firoza had gone to the river for taking bath three days ago and remained missing since.

Local people spotted the floating body of Firoza in the river in the morning and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.
