Nilphamari: Police on Tuesday awarded three people who helped law enforcers arrest Obaidul Khan, the alleged killer of Willes Little Flower School and College student Suraiya Akhter Risha.

District Superintendent of Police Jakir Hossain Khan handed over the awards to them at Domar Police Station.
Shahjahan, Dulal, and Ismail detained Obaidul while he was taking breakfast at a restaurant of Sonaray Bazar in Domar upazila on 31 August after they recognised him seeing his photograph on newspapers.
Later, he was handed over to Rapid Action Battalion.
Risha, 14, daughter of Ramzan Ali of Bangshal in old Dhaka, was stabbed by stalker Obaidul in front of her educational institution at Kakrail in the capital on 24 August. She died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital later.
