Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Saturday expressed deep shock at the loss of lives in a boiler blast at a factory in Gazipur.

In a condolence message, the President prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

He also wished early recovery of the people who sustained injures in the blast incident, reports UNB.

A broiler explosion in a packaging factory in Tongi left over 20 people dead and 70 others injured on Saturday.
