Dhaka: Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at most places in the country and it may continue in the next 72 hours.

Rain was occurred in many places including capital Dhaka today during the Eid congregations in the morning.

A release of Meteorological Department on Tuesday said light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur and Chittagong divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.

Tuesday’s sunset at Dhaka would be at 6:04pm and the sun will rise on Wednesday at 5:45am, the release added.
