Benapole: Three Bangladeshi nationals, including two women and a minor girl, returned home through Benapole check post on Sunday night.

The returnees are Shipra Biswas, 25, daughter of Bashudev Biswas of Khulna, Kalpana Das, 23, daughter of Motin Das, and Zozo Das, 9, daughter of Kalpana Das, a resident of Joypur village in Gangni, Meherpur.

Petrapol immigration police handed over them to Benapole immigration police at about 8:00pm, said Aslam Hossain Khan, officer-in-charge of Benapole immigration police.

A team of Indian police had arrested the trio two years back from Kolkata rail station area for entering India illegally.

Afterwards, they were sent to Kolkata Central Jail.
