UNDP holds ‘Youth Dialogue’ with CCC mayoral candidates
Chittagong: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh on Monday hosted a ‘Youth Dialogue’ with mayoral candidates for upcoming Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) election.
The programme was organised at the Theatre Institute Chittagong (TIC), where eight out of the total twelve CCC mayoral candidates participated.
Ruling Awami League-backed mayoral candidate AJM Nasir Uddin and BNP-backed candidate Manjur Alam were absent from the dialogue.
Attending the programme, Jatiya Party-backed mayor candidate Solaiman Alam Sheth said he will build Chittagong as a modern city with the assistance of innovative new generation.
Other mayor aspirants, Islamic Front-blessed MA Matin, Mujibul Haque Shukkur, Gazi Alauddin Chowdhury, Syed Sazzad Zoha, Shafiul Alam and Woaez Hossain Bhuiyan also spoke at the programme.
