Jhenaidah: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two men in possession of two crude bombs and sharp weapons at Khajura in Sadar upazila of Jhenaidah on Tuesday morning.

The arrestees are Sajjad Hossen, 16, and Touhidul Islam Tuhin, 25, son of Boshir Mondol, both hailing from the upazila.

Company commander of RAB-6 Jhenaidah camp ASP Utpal Kumar Ray said tripped off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive at Khajura and arrested the duo from their respective houses along with two crude bombs and some sharp weapons at about 11:00am.

Later, RAB handed over the arrestees to Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station.
