Water levels of 40 rivers rise, 43 fall

Dhaka: Water levels in 40 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 43 stations recorded falls.
Among the 90 monitored water level stations, four river stations have been registered steady, a bulletin issued by the FFWC said on Saturday.
The Bramaputra-Jamuna, the Ganges-Padma are in rising state while Surma-Kushiyara rivers are in falling state.
