Mymensingh: Police recovered the body of a college girl from her house in Seed-store Bazar area under Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday morning, reports UNB.

The girl is Munni Akhtar, 18, daughter of Mohor Ali of the same area. Munni was a first year intermediate student at local Abdul Awal Degree College in Bhaluka.

Quoting family members, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhaluka police station, Hazrat Ali said Munni went to bed having her food at night. When her mother called Munni to have breakfast in the morning, she found the door locked from inside.

Later, family members broke open the door and found Munni hanging from a ceiling fan.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

A case was filed in this connection.
