Jhenaidah: Police detained 61 people, including six activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir, in a special drive from different parts of Jhenaidah on Sunday.

Additional superintendent of Police Azbahar Ali Sheikh said police conducted a drive in different places of six upazilas in Jhenaidah from Saturday night to Sunday morning and arrested them on various charges.

Among the arrestees, there were five Jamaat acitivists and one Shibir activist, he added.
