Police on Tuesday morning recovered the body of a man bearing marks of bullet injury from Godkhali Kalibari area of Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore.

The deceased is Alamgir Hossain, believed to be 32,  resident of Sharifpur area in the upazila.

Jhikargachha Police Station Officer-in-charge Masud karim said locals spotted the body in the area in the morning and informed police, reports UNB.

Police recovered the body at about 8:00am.

They also recovered a revolver with three rounds of bullets from the spot.
