Benapole: A hand bomb exploded inside the Border Guard Battalion (BGB) camp in Jhumjhumpur area beside the Jessore-Narail road in Jessore on Wednesday night.

BGB Battalion-26 commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain said unidentified miscreants hurled the hand bomb inside the camp at about 11:30 pm.

However, no casualty was reported.

Officer-in-charge Enamul Haque of Kotwali Police Station confirmed the incident.
