Police recovered the hanging body of a female garment worker from a house at Dakkhin Salna in Gazipur on Thursday.

Locals said Rozina Begum, 22, a garment worker of a local garment factory and wife of Afar Uddin of Netrakona, used to live at a rented house in the area.

Getting no response from Rozinna’s house for long, locals peeped through the window of the house and saw Rozina hanging from the ceiling at about 8:00am on Thursday.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police arrested Rozina’s husband but he claimed that she committed suicide over family feud.
