Jhenaidah: A mobile court in Jhenaidah on Sunday sentenced a young man to three months imprisonment for stalking a schoolgirl at Goyeshpur village in Sadar upazila, reports UNB.

The convict is Russel, son of Tobarok Mollah of the village.

Ajajul Haque, assistant sub-inspector of sadar Police Station, said, Russel used to stalk the girl, a student of class V, on her way to school.

On information, the mobile court, led by executive magistrate and assistant commissioner (land), conducted a drive in the village at noon and arrested Russel.

Later, the court awarded him the jail term.
