Comilla: A case was filed in connection with the killing of newly elected chairman of Ziarkandir union Moniruzzaman and his brother-in-law, Mohiuddin, in Gouripur bus stand area of Daudkandi upazila of Comilla.

Tahmina Akter, wife of Moniruzzaman, filed the case with Daudkandi Police on Tuesday night, accusing 13 identified and seven unidentified people, said officer-in-charge of the police station Abu Salam Miah.

Earlier, Moniruzzaman and his brother-in-law Mohiuddin were shot dead by miscreants in Gouripur bus stand area of Daudkandi upazila on 8 November morning.
