Another Bangladeshi dies after shooting at Sylhet border

Sylhet: A man, who was reportedly shot by a group of Indians at Sonarhat border in Gowainghat upazila in Sylhet on Wednesday morning, died undergoing treatment at Osmani Medical College Hospital in the evening on the same day.
The deceased is Faizul Miah, in his twenties.
Another Bangladeshi, Bacchu Miah, in his thirties, a resident of Pacchim Comilla Bosti area in the upazila, died immediately after the firing that took place at about 5:00am.
Quoting family members of deceased Faizul, Osmani Medical College Hospital police camp in-charge SI Polash said Faizul along with others intruded into India to bring cattle from there.
At one point, a group of people of the Khashia community opened fire at the intruders, leaving several of them injured.
Though the injured managed to get back to Bangladesh territory, Bachchu succumbed to the injuries soon.
Faizul was taken to Osmani Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries in the evening.
