Jhenaidah: The Jhenaidah branch of Bangladesh Road and Transport Authority (BRTA) earned over Tk 26 crore from motorcycle registrations this year.

‘We started drives strictly against unregistered motorcycle in the district on April, 2015 and as a result about 15,364 motorcycles were registered till October this year’, Traffic inspector of the district Salah Uddin said.

He also said due to the drive a huge amount of revenue has been realised while discipline in motorcycle driving has been restored.
