Comilla: A man was stabbed to death by miscreants at Dulinardi village of Daudkandi upazila in Comilla on Sunday evening.

The deceased is Mohammad Jakir Hossain Masud, in his thirties, a resident of the village, also a deed writer.

Daudkandi Police Officer-in-charge Abu Salam Miah said a gang of miscreants attacked him and stabbed him indiscriminately with locally made pointed weapon, known as ‘teta’, which left him critically injured.

Later he was rushed to Gouripur Government Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at night.

On information, police recovered the body.
