Pabna: An activist of an outlawed party was shot to death by miscreants at Chachakia village of Atgharia upazila in Pabna on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mithu,in his thirties, resident of Narjan village of the upazila and an activist of outlawed party Nakshal.

Local people said a gang of miscreants opened fire on Mithu in the area when he was returning home at about 10:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.
