Natore: A case was filed on Thursday against 16 unidentified people in connection with the killing of three young men, including two Juba League activists.

Roksana Bewa, mother of Redwan Sabbir, a member of Natore municipality unit of Juba League, filed the case with Sadar Police Station against 16 unidentified people in the morning, said Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the police station.

Earlier, on December 5, police recovered the bullet-hit bodies of Redwan Sabbir, 25, a member of Natore municipality unit of Jubo League and son of Sona Miah, Abdullah, 25, son of Lutfur Rahman, and Sohel, 26, son of Kalu Miah, from a mango orchard at Raniganj Kalabari in Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur district. The latter two were activists of the ruling party’s associate youth wing.

Plainclothes men posing as law enforcers reportedly picked the three young men up from Takia Bazar in Sadar upazila of the district on 3 December.
