3 hurt in Air Force chopper crash

Chittagong: At least three persons were injured when a training chopper of Bangladesh Air Force crashed at Shah Amanat Internation Airport in Chittagong on Wednesday morning.
Two of the injured are Safayet, a squadron leader, and co-pilot Fuad, while identity of the other, whose designation only could be confirmed as flight engineer, could not be known immediately.
Airport manager wing commander Nur-e-Alam said an Air Force helicopter MI17 (a test flight) crashed at the airport at about 11:06am, leaving the three injured.
Nur-e-Alam added Safayet and the flight engineer sustained major injuries and were taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Dhaka for treatment.
Condition of Fuad who received treatment was reportedly well.
Air crafts movement has been stopped following the accident.
