Gaibandha: Eight people were injured in a clash between two groups of Gaibandha Chamber of Commerce in Gaibandha on Tuesday night.

The Gaibandha Sadar Police Officer-in-charge Mehedi Hasan said two groups of Gaibandha Chamber of Commerce locked in an altercation in the morning during their general meeting.

Following the altercation, members of the two groups engaged in a clash in the night when eight of them sustained injuries.

Two of the injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
